Police warn PTI about terrorism threats

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad inspector general (IG) has written a letter to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leadership and informed that there are security threats in the city due to the Zarb-e-Azb operation. In his letter, the IG also informed the PTI leadership that there is no permission of holding public gatherings in the city as Section 144 is being already imposed. He wrote that the police was unable to provide protection to the party, hence informed it about the threats. On the other hand, Imran Khan has announced to reach Islamabad to stage an anti-government protest at any cost.
