Death anniversary of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (SA) observed

ISLAMABAD: The death anniversary of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (SA) was observed with reverence throughout the country. On the occasion, the 37th Annual Umul Momaneen Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra Conference was arranged by Markazi Imam Hussain Council. Speaking on the occasion, MNA Asma Mamdot said that Hazrat Khadija (SA) sacrificed her total wealth for preaching Islam. She urged the people to support the armed forces in the Zarb e Azb operation and to sacrifice their wealth for the IDPs. Australia's High Commissioner Peter Heyward said that Hazrat Khadija (SA) is a symbol of interfaith harmony and a role model for the women on global level. Markazi Imam Hussain Council's Chairman Ghazanfar Mehdi said that Arabs were killing their minor girls, adding that Hazrat Khadija (SA) established the first ever Dar ul Aman (safe house) for the girls where food, shelter, and education was provided and their lives were saved. A resolution was unanimously adopted in which the participants appealed to government to observe the birthday of Hazrat Imam Hassan (AS) on 15th Ramazan and martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (AS) on 19th to 21st countrywide.
