Pakistan offers admissions to expelled IHK students

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday strongly regretted India’s move to book treason case against Kashmiri students who were celebrating Pakistan’s victory in cricket match. Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam in weekly briefing here regretted India’s decision to book 67 Kashmiri students who cheered Pakistani cricket team in its match against India, under treason charges. The spokesperson said it is unfortunate incident that the India has registered treason case against the Kashimiri students who were just celebrating the victory in the cricket match. The Foreign Office criticised the Indian move and offered that these students can take admissions in Pakistani universities and assured that the Pakistan government will provide full assistance for the completion of education by these students.
