ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Maroof Afzal said that the civic body attaches high priority to the uplift and promotion of CDA Model School.
“Students are the future of our nation and we will make available all facilities to the students of the CDA Model School,” he added.
“The CDA Administration will utilise its best energies and resources to make the school environment more conducive for learning and grooming,” he said at a ceremony held at the CDA Model School to bid formal farewell to the retiring principal, on Thursday.
He said that the CDA Administration acknowledges and owns the contribution of the departing principal. “Her successor will have to work hard to prove to be her good replacement,” the chairman further said.
“The CDA Administration is conscious of all problems and requirements of the CDA Model School and these issues are being given warm-hearted attention.”
He said that the CDA Model School needed a new and more spacious campus. “The CDA Administration will arrange commencement of the new school campus at the earliest,” the chairman added.
Earlier, while addressing at her farewell ceremony, the retiring principal said that she had served the CDA Model School for twenty-eight years and was optimistic about its even-brighter future due to the availability of services of dedicated and capable staff, and shining students.
She highlighted the issues confronting the school and stressed the construction of an alternate school campus at the earliest.
The students and the staff members of the school also praised the services of the retiring principal through their speeches in the course of the ceremony.
