ISLAMABAD: Condemning the terrorist attack at the Islamabad courts complex and security forces in Khyber Agency, PTI chief Imran Khan said on Monday that the Taliban should be given the responsibility of nabbing those involved in terrorist attacks. Talking to media persons at the airport, Imran Khan said that every effort should be made for the success of the peace dialogue. He said anti-Pakistan elements are actively trying to sabotage the dialogue process. The PTI chief also said that there were few groups within the Taliban who did not want peace in Pakistan and that anti-state elements are also working against the peace talks. Imran said that the majority of the Taliban groups want to hold dialogue. He said that those not wanting to talk with the government should be isolated and acted against. Imran Khan said peace talks should be given a full chance to restore peace in the country, adding that the option of military operation was always at hand. “Anti-state elements do not want peace to prevail in the country,” he added. Imran said that the ceasefire agreement between the government and the Taliban should be adhered to even after Monday’s attacks in Islamabad and Khyber Agency. The PTI chief also claimed that the United States wants military action in North Waziristan Agency (NWA). “We are not in favour of operation in North Waziristan.” “Our enemies do not want peace in Pakistan,” he said.
