Nigerian gets five years for peddling drugs
LAHORE: An anti-narcotics court awarded five-year rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 100,000 to a Nigerian drug peddler. The judge Pervaiz Ali Chawala said the peddler, Mr Abuchi, would have to undergo a further imprisonment of one year if he fails to pay the fine. The judge said the period Mr Abuchi has already served in the jail during his trial should be deducted from his sentence. —Staff Report
