Bush, Blair to seek ‘broad’ support on Iraq

CAMP DAVID: President George W Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair expect to win broad international support on any action taken against Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and his weapons of mass destruction, once they have presented evidence, Blair said late Saturday.

Following three hours of talks with Bush at the presidential retreat of Camp David, Maryland -- described by the White House as “excellent” -- the British leader insisted the two allies would strive to obtain international consensus, as they have done in earlier international conflicts. —AFP
