PCB-Hush Puppies Cricket: Sir Syed University score eight-wicket victory

LAHORE: Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology crushed Federal Urdu University by eight wickets at Regional Academy Ground in Karachi, said a spokesman for the Pakistan Cricket Board here on Monday.

In the other matches, Iqra University defeated Textile Institute of Pakistan by four wickets, Baqai Medical University beat Ziauddin Medical University by 212 runs and NED University of Engineering and Technology scored a five-wicket win against Mohammad Ali Jinnah University.



Summarised scores: At Regional Academy Ground: Federal Urdu University 141 in 37.3 overs (Atif Syed 44, Amjad Hussain 28, Saeed Ahmed 17*; Khurram Imtiaz 6-40, Mansoor Mirza 2-19) v Sir Syed University of Engineering Technology 142-2 in 30.4 overs (Adnan Ali Bajwa 55*, Bilal Malik 48).

Result: Sir Syed University of Engineering Technology won by eight wickets

At TMC Ground: Textile Institute of Pakistan 150 in 49.4 overs (Farid Kapadia 35, Adil Hasan 26, Anus Anwar 19; Bilal Memon 3-15, Kamran Butt 2-23, Fahad Hasan 2-25) v Iqra University 151-6 in 25.3 overs (Kashan Qureshi 40, Yasin Saleem 36, Adeel Abbasi 32; Haris Husain 2-21, Farid Kapadia 2-40)

Result: Iqra University won by four wickets
