Indian trade team due today
ISLAMABAD: Two-day secretary level talks between Pakistan and India on bilateral trade will begin on August 11 in Islamabad.
A six-member Indian delegation led by Commerce Secretary Deepak Chatterjee will arrive in Lahore today (Monday). Commerce Secretary Tasneem Noorani will head the Pakistani delegation at the talks. Both sides will discuss the promotion of bilateral trade, free trade, free import and export of agricultural products, industrial growth, sea trade, Pakistan-Iran-India gas pipeline and an end to tariff and non-tariff barriers. The Indian delegation will arrive in Islamabad tomorrow (Tuesday). online
