KC student to represent Pakistan at Harvard moot
LAHORE: Hina Khan, a student of Mass Communication at Kinnaird College for Women, will represent Pakistan at an international conference organised by Harvard University.
The conference will be held in Shanghai from August 18 to 21. Ms Hina will present a paper on ‘Population Planning’.
The Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), founded in 1991, organises an annual international conference in Asia, with more than 400 delegates from more than 60 countries. It also hosts a business conference. The HPAIR’s mid-year event is open to 300 students. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘the once and future asia: expanding horizons, historic transitions’.
The HPAIR 2004 is dedicated to the understanding that finding common ground is a dynamic and innovative process, which integrates ideas and actions from across Asia and the whole world. Heads of state, ministers and senior executives in business and international organisations will also address the conference. staff report
