Eid-e-Milad function at school

MIANWALI Observing religious events enlightens hearts and creates harmony among Muslims, Government College for Women Principal Munaza Alam said at a gathering at Ayesha Model School in connection with Eid Miladun Nabi. Ms Alam said a woman’s role was very important in shaping the character of children. She said private schools were increasing the literacy rate and the standards of education in Pakistan and so they should be encouraged. Students recited verses from the Holy Quran and naats in tribute to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
