2 killed in accident

JAUHARABAD A Karachi-bound coach overturned on Saturday, killing two people and injuring 22.

The coach overturned 28 kilometres from Jauharabad near Katha Sughral when a tie-rod broke. Driver Zahid, a resident of Chakwal, and an unidentified female passenger died at the scene. Twenty-two passengers including nine women and seven children were injured and taken to Khushab Tehsil Head Quarters Hospital. Five people were reported to be in critical condition.

The injured include Shah Khalid, Shehnaz, Robina, Hameed, Muhammad Farhan, Muhammad Faizan, Rukhsana, Muhammad Asif, Faisal Abbas, Ruqia, Shahida Parveen, Lal Hussain, Asad Nawaz, Rabnawaz, Muhammad Nazir, Babar Abbas, Javed, Shamim Akhtar, Rehana Naz, Aamir Shehzad and Irshad Hassan. app
