High-level transfers in PTCL

ISLAMABAD: Senior-level transfers and postings were made in Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) on Friday.

An official press statement said the transfers and postings were part of PTCL’s human resource development plan. The objective was to train senior managers in different disciplines to enhance organisational effectiveness. In phase I, as many as 12 transfers and postings at the general manager/chief engineer level has been carried out. Director Network-I Khalilur Rehman was transferred and posted as general manager western telecom region (WTR) (Quetta) at the same pay scale.

General Manager WTR Quetta Muamber Shahzada was transferred and posted as chief engineer operation planning and implementation at PTCL headquarters in Islamabad. General Manager (GM) Muhammad Irshad was posted as GM Rawalpindi telecom region (RTR), while GM RTR Chaudhry Sardar Muhammad was transferred and posted as chief inspector telecom PTCL.

Chief Engineer Maintenance and Operations Karachi Muzaffar Ali was transferred and posted as general manager southern telecom region (STR-II) Karachi. Deputy General Manager Lahore Telecom Region (South) Muhammad Hanif was transferred and posted as general manager STR-I Hyderabad.

General Manager STR-III Karachi Shamsher Ali was transferred and posted as GM ITI Karachi. General Manager ITI Karachi Muhammad Akhtar Jamil was transferred and posted as GM STR-III Karachi.

GM ITI Islamabad Nasir Iqbal was transferred and posted as GM optical fibre system Islamabad. Chief Engineer Fazle Bari was posted as chief engineer IT PTCL headquarters. Deputy Chief Engineer Operations Central Lahore Muhammad Saleem Akhtar was transferred and posted as chief engineer ITI Islamabad. Director Development II Karachi Muhammad Zafarullah Khan was transferred and posted as chief engineer Karachi.
