Blackwill strikes Pakistan one more time

WASHINGTON: Former US ambassador to India Robert Blackwill has predicted that India and the United States will win the war on terrorism “because we represent good and terrorists are evil incarnate. God will make it so.”

In one of his farewell addresses before leaving New Delhi that has been reprinted here, Mr Blackwill, who will be remembered in Pakistan for his repeated attacks on the country, said, “These terrorist outrages against my country and against (India) will not continue indefinitely.” Mr Blackwill who, it has been rumoured, may win a top post at the National Security Council overseeing the South Asian region and the Middle East, while denouncing cross-border terrorism into Kashmir, failed to mention the long Kashmiri struggle for self-determination.
