3 Taj Company plots to be commercialised
LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and the Lahore government have recommended the commercialisation of three plots of the suspended Taj Company located in the Gulberg industrial area to the victims of the Taj Company scam.
A meeting of the LDA governing body and officials of the district government decided that the construction of any building would not be allowed if its design did not mention the underground water tank. The meeting approved that a six feet wide ramp would be compulsory in all commercial buildings and trade centres for people with disabilities. The meeting also directed the authorities concerned to ensure the availability of drinkable water to citizens. District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood chaired the meeting. Meanwhile, a team headed by the district officer for labour raided various petrol pumps and found two pumps not following the district government regulations. staff report
