Shahbaz has right to return, says PML-N
ISLAMABAD The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday claimed that party president Shahbaz Sharif enjoys the right to return and live anywhere in Pakistan as a free citizen.
Addressing at a press conference, PML-N Chief Coordinator Ahsan Iqbal ruled out the existence of any agreement between the governments of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and the Sharif family. He added that if the government hides any such agreement, then it would be in contempt of court.
He said that neither the federal government nor the provincial governments had challenged the return of the PML-N president. “It is his constitutional right to return to his country,” he added. staff report
