Rohi express derails near Khanpur

MULTAN: Four coaches of the Rawalpindi-bound Rohi Express derailed near the Feroza Railway Station, 140 kilometres from Multan on Monday. But no casualty was reported, Railway officials said.

Four coaches and a wheel of the fifth coach went off the track at 3pm on Monday after the train began its journey from the Khanpur Railway Station of district Rahimyar Khan for Rawalpindi and reached the next railway station at Feroza.

Senior railway officials reached the spot and rescue trains have been sent to clear the track, the officials said. app
