Peace train from Pindi to Lahore on October 5

LAHORE: The Foundation for Democracy Pakistan (FDP) will organise a peace train drive from Rawalpindi to Lahore through Lala Musa, Sargodha, Jhang and Multan from October 5-8, Sohail Gowaindi, the coordinator of the foundation, told reporters on Sunday. He said that 40 people from India and 40 from other countries including Bosnia, the USA, Turkey, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Germany and Bulgaria would participate in the drive. The initiative is meant to strengthen the peace process between India and Pakistan, the coordinator said. app
