Turkish general calls on corps commander

LAHORE: Major General Zekeriya Ozturk, operations division chief of the Turkish Land Forces, called on Lieutenant General Shahid Aziz, Lahore corps commander, at his office on Thursday.

Ozturk exchanged views with the corps commander. Aziz gave him a souvenir of his visit to the corps headquarters. Earlier, the dignitary visited the Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort. He was briefed about the historical background of these sites. He also visited Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s mausoleum. Later in the evening, he and his two-member team visited Wagah. staff report
