Over a dozen senior officials transferred

LAHORE: The Punjab government in a major reshuffle transferred and posted over a dozen senior bureaucrats on Thursday.

Suleman Ghani, Planning and Development Board chairman, has been assigned to the federal government as secretary of Ministry of Industries, Production and Special Initiatives.

Sabtain Fazal Halim, Communication and Works Department secretary, has been promoted to Planning and Development Board chairman.

Javaid Akhtar, Rahimyar Khan district coordination officer (DCO), and Mehr Muhammad Nawaz Khan, Sahiwal DCO, have been transferred and directed to report to the Services and General Administration Department (SGAD) for further orders.

Squadron Leader (r) Ahmed Yar Khan, Communication and Works Department additional secretary, has been transferred and posted as Communication and Works Department secretary, without a change in grade.

Nasrullah Khan, Privatisation Board secretary, has been transferred and posted as Rahimyar Khan DCO.

Hameed Amjad Warraich, Directorate General of Local Government and Rural Development additional director general, has been transferred and posted as Sahiwal DCO.

Malik Masood Ahmad, Vehari district officer (DO) (Revenue), has been transferred and posted as Chakwal executive district officer (Revenue) against a vacant post. Malik Masood Ahmad shall join his new assignment after completing his mandatory training for promotion to BS-19 being held at the Management and Professional Development Department.

Ziaullah Khan, Rahimyar Khan DO (Revenue), has been transferred and posted as Vehari DO (Revenue).

Azfar Ziya, Vehari special judicial magistrate, has been transferred and posted as Burewala deputy district officer (DDO) (Registration) against a vacant post. The orders transferring Sher Ahmad Malik, Border Area Committee civil member, Board of Revenue as Kasur DDO (Consolidation), have been cancelled.

Rana Shabbir Hussain, Board of Revenue assistant director (Land Records), has been transferred and posted as Kasur DDO (Consolidation).
