UET exhibition
LAHORE: The Environment and Horticulture Society of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, has arranged an inter-university exhibition of painting, sketching, photography and flower decoration.
Lt Gen (r) Muhammad Akram Khan, the UET vice chancellor, inaugurated the two-day exhibition in which more than 10 universities are participating. World WildLife Fund (WWF), and Punjab Horticulture Authority (PHA) are supporting the exhibition, which has 300 pieces on display on the co-relational theme of war, nature, pollution, wildlife, culture and smoking. The exhibition has also arranged documentaries on environment and wildlife. The participating universities and educational institutions are UET, Government College University, Lahore College for Women University, University of Lahore, King Edward Medical College, Punjab University, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Queen Mary College, Defence Degree College and other universities. staff report
