Govt allocates funds to children’s healthcare

LAHORE: Health Minister Dr Tahir Ali Javed said that the government was paying special attention to provide healthcare facilities to children and funds had been allocated in this regard on Sunday.

He said that the cooperation of donor agencies was also being sought for. The government would establish thalassaemia centers at district level to treat patients, he said, adding that a cancer hospital would be constructed in Lahore where thalassaemia transplant facility would be available. app
