Rehearsal for Defence Day celebrations

LAHORE: A dress rehearsal including military exercises was held at the Fortress Stadium as part of Defence Day celebrations on Sunday.

Army officers and members of the organising committee were also present, said an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press statement.

Free-fall jumps and an assault by tanks will be the main features of the celebrations. Other events included fly past and acrobatics by army aviation aircraft and patriotic songs by students of Lahore Garrison Educational System, the statement said. app
