‘Ghailani not being extradited’

LAHORE: Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat on Wednesday denied that Tanzanian national Ahmad Khalfan Ghailani was being extradited to the United States, according to BBC.

“Ghailani is still in Pakistani security agencies’ custody and is being interrogated,” BBC quoted Mr Hayat as saying. Mr Hayat said intelligence agencies were trying to extract information from Ghailani and others about their activities in Pakistan and abroad.
