LAC forms six committees

LAHORE: The Lahore Arts Council’s board of governors has formed six committees.

The Fine Arts Committee, with Samiur Rehman as its convener, consists of Professor Rahat Naveed Masud and Khalid Rehman. The four-member Drama Committee has Javed Ahmed Qureshi as its convener and Usman Pirzada, Qazi Hamayun Fareed and Mian Yousaf Salahuddin as its members. Munir Ahmed Niazi has been appointed the convener of the Literature Committee with Mian Yusaf Salahuddin and Qazi Hamayun Fareed as its members.

The four-member Music Committee has Hayat Ahmed Khan as its convener and Hamid Ali Khan, Amna Ulfat and Usman Pirzada as its members.

Qazi Hamayun Fareed is also the convener of the Building and Infrastructure Committee, which has Hayat Ahmed Khan and Khalid Rehman as members.
