Pakistan Army drone crashes
KARACHI: An unmanned Pakistan Army aircraft crashed early Wednesday in Sindh after developing a technical fault, army officials said.
The drone, which was on a routine flight near Nawabshah, 265 kilometres north of Karachi, fell on to a farm causing no casualties or damage.
“The unmanned aircraft crashed in a field so there is no loss of property or life,” military spokesman Colonel Mohammad Idrees said, adding that an inquiry had been launched into the cause of the accident. The spokesman refused to give any other details about the aircraft. reuters
