Man shot and wounded over property disputed

LAHORE: Four gunmen shot and wounded a man and two passers-by near Chunna Mandi over a property dispute late on Friday.

Shaukat had bought a peace of land in Chunna Mandi but ran into a dispute over the possession of land. On Friday night, Muhammad Mehmood and his four aides threatened Shaukat with serious consequences if he did not give up his claim to the land. On his refusal, they opened fire, injuring him and two passers-by. The Masti Gate police registered a case.
