Dawat-e-Islami invites Musharraf and Aziz to moot

LAHORE: Dawat-e-Islami has invited President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to its two-day congregation on Thursday, a party spokesman said on Tuesday.

He said preparations for the congregation, which would be held in Islamabad’s H-10 Sector, were satisfactory and police had made special security arrangements for the event, according to a Dawat press release. The spokesman said Information Minister Sheikh Rashid and Supreme Court Chief Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui were also invited to the congregation. pr
