Pakistan has free media, free economy: PM
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Thursday reiterated that Pakistan had a free media and a free economy.
Talking to a CNBC TV team led by its president Zafar Siddiqui, the prime minister said that growth in the economy and the unprecedented independence given to the media were some of the achievements of the government.
He said he hoped CNBC would prove to be a bridge between the government and businessmen abroad as well as provide valuable feedback to the government. The team informed the prime minister of the progress made so far in connection with the launch of their channel in Pakistan. sana
