CM declares PML-backed nazim candidates

LAHORE: Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has declared Chaudhry Ali Akhtar Khan and Chaudhry Mehmoodul Hassan Pakistan Muslim League-backed candidates for Madina Town, Faisalabad, and Tehsil Kamalia nazims and Ahmad Raza Bhali for Faisalabad district naib nazim in local bodies elections. He announced this during a meeting with MNAs at Chief Minister’s House on Tuesday. Elahi hoped that PML-backed candidates would play an active role in the social development of their areas.
