Aziz Khan calls on Shujaat
LAHORE: Aziz Ahmed Khan, the Pakistani high commissioner to India, met Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, the Pakistan Muslim League (PML) president, on Thursday. Mushahid Hussain Syed, the PML secretary general, was also present.
Shujaat said that direct contact between the people of Pakistan and India had improved peace process. He said that such contact would make the process a success at the government level. The high commissioner said that Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s visit to India had improved Indo-Pak ties. He said that the chief minister’s visit had provided a strong base to improve the ties between the two neighbours. staff report
