Man ‘injured by Danda Group’ dies in hospital
LAHORE: Munawar Hussain, 25, who was brought to General Hospital after an unidentified man assaulted him with a club, died on Saturday.
Mr Hussain, a resident of Okara, was sleeping in a house under construction when he was assaulted. Police believed a serial killer gang, Danda group, had once again became active in the provincial metropolis. Thirteen people to date have been killed by the Danda group. Meanwhile, body of a two-year-old infant was found wrapped in a polythene bag. Police have sent the body to the city mortuary for an autopsy. Police believe the assailants poisoned the child after sodomising him.
