Police arrest five fake cable manufacturers

LAHORE: Lahore police conducted raids on two factories involved in manufacture of fake cable. They arrested five men and seized hundreds of rolls of counterfeit cables from them.

A national cable manufacturing company complained to SSP (Operations) Amir Zulfiqar Khan that some factories were producing fake cables in the company’s name in Lower Mall and Harbanspura.

On SSP’s instructions, Lower Mall SHO Ghulam Dastagir and his team raided a factory at Mohni Road and arrested Asad Ali, Khalid Javed, Nasir and Atif Shehzad and seized 150 rolls of bogus cable worth Rs 300,000. staff report
