MMA announces another peace march in Karachi
KARACHI: The Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) announced on Tuesday that it would launch another peace march in Karachi after a ban on MMA leaders preventing them from entering Sindh was lifted.
MMA Central Leader Munawwar Hassan told a press conference that the religious alliance had decided on another peace march in Karachi after the ban on Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Qazi Hussain Ahmad was lifted. He said Governor’s House had become the hub of conspiracies and baton-charging peaceful citizens exposed the government’s inability to control lawlessness in the province. He said the comments of the Sindh chief minister in which he said the government had foiled the MMA’s mischievousness in the name of a peace march were childish. online
