10 rockets fired at Razmak Fort and checkposts

MIRANSHAH: Unidentified militants fired 10 rockets at paramilitary installations and offices of the political administration at Razmak in South Waziristan Agency. Most of them missed their targets.

Three rockets were fired from the north of the Razmak Fort and two of them landed a few meters away from the boundary walls of the fort while the third hit the ground near Makeen area. The army and Shawal Rifles returned fire and both sides exchanged fire for several hours. The militants managed to escape in the darkness of night.

Seven rockets were fired at the Dosali checkpost and offices of the political administration. Two rockets landed inside a fort near the checkpost and one hit a building. No casualty has been reported.
