Punjab govt to amend housing laws

LAHORE: The Punjab government decided on Tuesday to amend laws to ensure transparency in private housing schemes, at a meeting chaired by Muhammad Basharat Raja, the law and local government minister. The meeting also decided to cooperate with local bodies to overcome technical problems encountered by housing schemes. The Lahore Development Authority director general, Lahore and Rawalpindi district coordination officers and other officials attended the meeting. staff report
