Indian troops kill 4 militants

SRINAGAR: Indian troops killed four Islamic militants in a clash along the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday, the Indian army said.

“The militants were killed near the Line of Control by army soldiers,” Indian army spokesman Vijay Batra said. The gun battle erupted after militants ignored their call to surrender in Kupwara district, where they entered after crossing over from the Pakistani part of Kashmir, he added. afp
