Burnt body of girl found in graveyard

LAHORE: A burnt body of an unidentified girl was found in a graveyard in Nishtar Colony police precincts on Sunday. Police said that graveyard caretaker Abdul Rahim informed them about the body. Police suspected that the girl might have been killed by throwing hot water on her. Further investigations are under way. The body was sent for autopsy.

Boy killed in victory celebrations: A four-year-old boy died due to injuries at General Hospital. On late Saturday night, Muhammad Usman was playing on his house’s rooftop when newly elected general councillor Khalid Butt started firing into the air to celebrate his victory in Nishtar Colony police precincts. A stray bullet hit Usman and was taken to General Hospital where he died on Sunday. The body was sent for autopsy and police have arrested Butt.
