Design of TDCP’s Wagah resort to be finalised in week

LAHORE: The design of a Tourism Development Corporation of the Punjab (TDCP) resort for Sikh pilgrims to be built near Wagah border crossing will be finalised in a week, sources told Daily Times on Saturday.
The resort will be built on six kanals and will have a tourist information centre and other facilities. The design has been pending for a long time. The sources said that the design would now be completed with the cooperation of the Punjab Communication and Works Department. They said that the TDCP was also redesigning its leaflets and other introductory material at a cost of Rs 1.1 million. The current brochures were printed around 10 years ago.
