LHC summons PPSC secretary

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday summoned the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) secretary to explain the appointment of Punjab forensic science laboratory director.

The court warned the secretary he could be charged with contempt for saying a reply to Dr Naveed Hussain Rizvi’s petition had been filed when it actually had not.

The petitioner said he was working as director of the forensic science laboratory, but the PPSC advertised the post and constituted a 3-member selection committee.
