Seminar on global terrorism from Monday

ISLAMABAD: The Institute of Regional Studies will hold a three-day international seminar on ‘Global Terrorism: It’s Genesis, Implications, Remedies and Countermeasures’ in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Stiftung. Participants from 11 countries will attend the seminar, scheduled to begin on Monday.

Besides Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr Maleeha Lodhi, and experts and scholars from Pakistan, international scholars Dr Peter Lavoy, Dr James Dingely, Dr Kishtij, Professor Rostislav Rybakov, Prof Paul Rogers, Dr Thames Johnson, Dr Alexander Nikitin and Prof Xia Liping will present papers at the seminar.
