Man lost false teeth in poker

A German gambler called the police for help after he lost his false teeth playing poker. The man’s poker partner had taken his dentures as security against non-payment of a gambling debt. The 45-year-old from Dortmund, who owed the other man £100, said he asked the police for help because he didn’t want to have to live off fluids until he’d raised the money.

His 51-year-old rival admitted taking the teeth from his friend’s bathroom as insurance against the owed money but handed them back under police pressure. —Ananova
