Investment in e-commerce urged

LAHORE: Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, son of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, said there were opportunities for investment and marketing in electronic commerce in Pakistan.

He said that the Pakistan’s trade would be revolutionized with the provision of prepaid electronic services such as those in US and Europe. Inaugurating different terminals of the ABC Prepaid Electronic Distribution System, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain said that the promotion of E-commerce was inevitable for rapid development and to save time. ABC Prepaid Electronic Distribution System Chairman Mohsin Habib Warraich and the Managing Director Umar Khalid said that their system would be attractive to both the shopkeepers and consumers.

They said that they would provide free terminals to shopkeepers so that they could sell prepaid cards to consumers. Calling cards and Internet cards of different companies will also be available.
