Punjab to give Sindh 50,000 tonnes of wheat

LAHORE: Sindh will receive 50,000 tonnes of wheat from the Punjab by February 15, said Punjab Food Minister Chaudhary Muhammad Iqbal here on Tuesday.

Flourmills in the Punjab have already increased their daily wheat processing to 18,000 tonnes and will continue to steadily add to output until February 11, he said. Sindh would get another 50,000 tonnes of wheat after February 15, Mr Iqbal said. —Staff Report
