KC holds science conference
LAHORE: Addressing the inaugural session of a two-day science conference at Kinnaird College for Women (KC) on Friday, Punjab Education Minister Imran Masood said the government is exploring ways to provide quality education to students belonging to the underprivileged section of the society.
He urged quality private educational institutions to reserve 20 percent of their seats for poor students. He said infrastructure’s improvement in government educational institutions was the govt’s priority.
Mr Masood inaugurated the science fair in which projects by various science department students of the college were put on display. The conference will continue on Saturday (today).
