Nazim quits over cantts in Sui, Kohlu

QUETTA: Dera Bugti Nazim Zulfikar Haider Bugti offered resignation from the post of district Nazim on Friday, in protest of cantonments’ establishments in Sui, Kohlu and Gawadar.

According to reports, Mr Bugti, the nephew of Nawab Akbar Bugti faxed his resignation to President General Parvez Musharaf.

Sources said he was unhappy over the establishment of cantonments in Balochistan, although he did not specify any reason to the media himself.
