Sialkot dead buried

SIALKOT: The eight people killed in Friday’s hostage drama at the Sialkot district jail were buried at their ancestral graveyards on Saturday.

Judge Shahid Munir Ranjha was buried at Dahul Ranjha, Tehsil Phalia, Mandi Bahauddin, Asim Mumtaz Cheema was buried at Chak 47, Sargodha, and Sagheer Ahmad was buried at Shami Shaheed Double-Road, Sahiwal. Punjab Chief Minister attended the funeral prayers and burial of Sagheer Ahmad. Large crowds of people attended their funerals. The bodies of the hostage-takers were also given to their families and they were buried at graveyards in Rangpur and Talwara, Sialkot Civil Lines Police Station House Officer Sanaullah said.
