Global Action Week for literacy

LAHORE: A Global Action Week (GLA) will be observed to pressure the government to provide more funds and to achieve gender equality in the education sector by 2005, and Universal Primary Education by 2015.

From April 24 to 30, the Provincial Resource Group (PRG) and Pakistan Coalition for Education (PCE), non-government organisations, will work for literacy as part of a Global Campaign of Education. staff report
