6 police officials get new posting

LAHORE: Provincial Police Officer Syed Masud Shah on Friday transferred six senior police officials on Friday.

According to an official announcement, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Muhammad Masud Tariq has been transferred and posted as Pindi Bhattian sub divisional police officer (SDPO).

DSP Zafarullah Khan, the Pindi Bhattian SDPO, has been transferred and posted as Sargodha Headquarters DSP against an existing vacancy. Gujranwala DSP Muhammad Javed Warraich has been transferred to Hafizabad to replace DSP Iqtidar Hussain who has been transferred and posted as the Gujranwala DSP.

Taunsa SDPO Mehmoodul Hassan has been transferred and posted as investigation DSP in Lahore against an existing vacancy. Lahore Intelligence DSP Sikandar Zulqarnain has been transferred and posted DSP Punjab Special Branch against an existing vacancy.

DCO transferred

LAHORE: Abdul Basit Sohail, district coordination officer, Bhakkar has been transferred and directed to report to the Services and General Administration Department. Bashir Ahmad Chaudhry, additional secretary, Livestock and Dairy Development, has been transferred to Bhakkar as district coordination officer. —Staff Report
