ISLAMABAD: Ahmed Abdul Quddus, who was granted a bail by the additional sessions judge of Rawalpindi on Tuesday, was released from the Adiala Jail on Wednesday evening. Defence counsel deposited personal guarantee and a surety bond of Rs 100,000 in the court. A large number of people including, Mr Quddus’s family members and local leaders of the MMA, were also present outside the jail. —Staff Report
